Sinocare hosted a themed symposium titled “Practices and Perspectives on Digital and Personalized Diabetes Management.” The session was chaired by Dr. Manoj S. Chawla, a leading diabetologist from India, and brought together authoritative experts from multiple countries for in-depth discussions on CGM, in-hospital management systems, and pediatric and adolescent diabetes care.
Dr. Mikhailova, Head of the Department of Endocrinology at the Samara Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital (Russia), presented “Outcomes of CGM Use in Children and Adolescents in the Samara Region of the Russian Federation.” Based on regional clinical data, she detailed the effectiveness of CGM in pediatric diabetes management, improvements in glycemic control, and positive impacts on family quality of life—providing valuable evidence for refined management and remote monitoring in pediatric diabetes care.
Professor Gong Lilin, Chief Physician and Master’s Supervisor, Department of Endocrinology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, shared “Clinical Experience with the B+C+In-Hospital Integrated Management System.” Through real-world cases, she illustrated the system’s efficiency and safety in inpatient glucose monitoring, integration with insulin pump therapy, and multidisciplinary collaboration—offering a practical pathway for the digital upgrade of in-hospital diabetes management.
Professor Ji Qiuhe, President of the Endocrinology and Metabolism Hospital at Xi’an International Medical Center and Vice Chairman of the Chinese Diabetes Society, delivered an in-depth analysis titled “The Clinical Value of CGM.” From perspectives including clinical benefits, data interpretation, patient education, and long-term management, he explored how CGM supports individualized treatment decisions, improves glycemic variability, prevents complications, and outlined the future potential of CGM combined with artificial intelligence.
