At Morozov Children's City Clinical Hospital in Moscow, Sinocare joined a Children's Day celebration with children living with Type 1 diabetes and their families. Through thoughtful gifts, activities, and glucose monitoring support, we hope to bring moments of comfort and connection to their treatment journey.

Growing Up Shouldn't Be Defined by Diabetes
According to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), approximately 9.5 million people worldwide are living with Type 1 diabetes, including around 1.8 million children and adolescents under the age of 20.
In Russia, nearly 61,000 children are living with diabetes, with the majority affected by Type 1 diabetes — a condition that requires lifelong management from an early age. For these children and their families, every day involves challenges beyond glucose levels — from daily monitoring routines to the emotional impact of managing a chronic condition while growing up.

Technology Making Life Easier for Kids
For young children living with Type 1 diabetes, managing glucose levels can be especially challenging. Rapid glucose fluctuations and limited ability to recognize or communicate symptoms can make daily monitoring more difficult for children and their families.
Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) technology helps reduce the burden of frequent finger-prick testing by providing real-time glucose insights, allowing families to better understand trends and make more informed decisions.

Care Without Borders
From Russia to communities around the world, Sinocare continues to support people living with diabetes through innovation, education, and compassionate care. As Viktor Valuyev, General Manager of Sinocare Russia, shared: “Glucose monitoring technology should help families regain confidence and peace of mind. Beyond technology itself, what truly matters is helping children live more freely, sleep more peacefully, and grow with confidence.”
