Diabetes has become an urgent global public health challenge, with 589 million adults aged 20-79 living with diabetes worldwide. But does a diabetes diagnosis mean saying goodbye to a happy life? On November 2, 2025, Sinocare hosted the Global Media Open Day in Changsha, bringing together leading domestic and international media to explore how science, technology, and compassion can help humanity face this defining challenge of our time, through sharing, dialogue, and firsthand experience.
Dialogue and Experience: From Science to Sustainable Well-being
At the opening of the event, Ms. Li Xinyi, Vice Chairwoman of Sinocare, stated: “At Sinocare, we believe that social responsibility and commercial value are mutually reinforcing. Through affordable product stratification, we ensure that every user can find a solution that both meets their needs and remains within reach. Meanwhile, through long-term investment in R&D, we build sustainable competitive advantages by enhancing accuracy and stability, strengthening our business foundation while giving back to society through more inclusive healthcare services.”

Ms. Zheng Jiyun, Deputy General Manager and Board Secretary of Sinocare, elaborated on the company’s strategy in primary healthcare: “Sinocare aligns deeply with the national Healthy China initiative and its focus on building an integrated chronic disease management ecosystem beyond hospital settings. From product innovation to service design, we are committed to providing solutions that are accessible, practical, and connected, helping to close the gap in primary healthcare services and implement a true ‘monitoring–assessment–intervention’ cycle at the community level.”

Professor Liao Yu, Member of the Chinese Diabetes Society and Director of the Sinocare Diabetes Reversal Center, shared insights into the value of CGM in diabetes care: “With continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), patients can visualize the impact of their daily behaviors on blood glucose levels. Combined with structured interventions, CGM not only improves disease awareness and self-management adherence but also fosters a virtuous cycle of ‘knowing and doing’, transforming knowledge into sustained action.”
Mr. Li Wenjie, Secretary-General of the Sinocare Diabetes Charity Foundation, spoke about the foundation’s original aspiration: “Public welfare guided by efficiency approaches business; business guided by empathy approaches public welfare. The Sinocare Diabetes Charity Foundation was founded not as a commercial tool, but as a platform to truly address the real-life challenges faced by people with diabetes. Regardless of background, any patient who meets the program criteria is our service target.”
Shared Vision: Empowering Health, Inspiring Happiness
During the thematic panel discussion, media representatives engaged in vibrant exchanges around topics such as “How can digitalization truly empower individuals?” The open and insightful discussion reflected Sinocare’s professionalism and willingness to embrace diverse perspectives.

In the interactive experience session that followed, media guests participated in non-invasive screenings and multi-indicator chronic disease testing, gaining firsthand insight into Sinocare’s technological capabilities and service excellence in digital chronic disease management.

The power of media lies not only in witnessing but also in inspiring. The journey toward a Healthy China cannot be achieved by one company alone. Through the theme “Global Sinocare, Shared Well-being,” Sinocare seeks to unite the wisdom and influence of the media and global partners to foster societal consensus, turning scientific diabetes management from a concept into common knowledge, and making the story of “coexisting with well-being through better glucose control” a reality.
