Following the successful conclusion of the American Diabetes Association’s (ADA) 2026 Scientific Sessions in the US, Sinocare is proud to highlight the latest clinical achievements in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology. Demonstrating our unwavering commitment to evidence-based innovation, Sinocare presented two high-impact abstracts and an academic poster evaluating the iCan CGM system (investigated in the US under the study name True Vie i3 CGM). Backed by a robust global clinical foundation with over 500 people with diabetes participating in studies to date, these multi-center trials mark a pivotal step in expanding our safe, accurate, and highly reliable monitoring solutions across adult and pediatric populations worldwide.

Adult Multi-Center Study Results

Taking center stage at the congress, the clinical poster highlights the exceptional performance of the factory-calibrated, 15-day real-time iCan CGM system in an adult cohort (n=142) across multiple clinical sites in the US and Europe. The data demonstrates stability and clinical accuracy throughout the entire 15-day wear period, achieving an overall Mean Absolute Relative Difference (MARD) of 8.98% for abdomen placement and 9.41% for the upper arm. Notably, clinical accuracy evaluation via the Parkes Error Grid analysis showed that >99.9% of matched pairs fell within Zones A and B, providing evidence that the device may be depended upon for daily diabetes management. An excellent safety profile was noted with zero device-related serious adverse events.

The full findings can be explored in detail in our embedded poster presentation below:

Strong Performance in Pediatrics

Complementing the adult data, Sinocare also shared notable results from its US multi-center pediatric study involving children and adolescents aged 2–17 with Type 1 Diabetes. For the 7–17 age group, where sensor performance was rigorously evaluated against precise venous reference blood glucose measurements (YSI glucose analyzer), the iCan system demonstrated outstanding iCGM compliance. The study recorded an overall MARD of 8.48% for abdomen and 8.57% for arm sensors, alongside a strong clinical accuracy rate of >99.9% in Zones A+B of the Parkes Error Grid. These results mirror previously reported pivotal data which obtained the CE mark in the EU, proving that the iCan CGM delivers a safe, comfortable (no overpatch required), and accurate experience for younger users.
